Editing images

To help me with my real music mag task, I practised taking my own photos using some of the different camera techniques. I then chose my favourite on then used an editing software called Adobe Photoshop Elements to create my poster.

Here is the original photo I chose to edit.

This is my final poster. The image itself has been changed to black and white which I think gives it a profession look - as well as the photo colour, the text and kicker is also black and white giving consistency. Depth of field can be seen as one girl is behind the other, giving an effect and not making the image boring as they are not standing side by side. Also, the way the image has been taken itself is suitable for a poster like this as it is a medium shot of the girls with no facial expression.
